Gustavsbergs Konsthall is one of Europe’s leading scenes for contemporary arts and crafts and a leading player in gathering a platform for contemporary arts and crafts at an international level.
Gustavsbergs Konsthall works to drive and develop the conversations within the arts and crafts area, to contribute to increased knowledge and dialogue and to strengthen the art form as a separate discipline. The exhibition program covers all areas of material and presents both internationally recognized practitioners and a younger generation’s avant-garde.
The exhibitions are the basic activity of the art gallery, and based on them, educational programs, seminars, texts, lectures and catalogs are formed. The educational programs at Gustavsbergs Konsthall are based on active participation and take place either directly in the exhibition or in connection with it. In addition to shows and activities aimed at children and school groups, guided tours are offered for other visiting groups.
The business also houses Butik & Showroom with carefully selected works from Sweden’s most renowned artisans. With a breadth that ranges from classic to conceptual expressions, the shop functions as a constantly updated forum for contemporary arts and crafts. varmdo.se
