Gällnö is one of the middle archipelago’s more original islands. With flaky beaches, a narrow gravel road, several sheltered natural ports and a well-preserved cultivation landscape, pleasant red-painted bushes, boat houses and well-being houses are gathered together under knotted apple trees in Gällnö town. There are commercial boutiques and hostels, well-attended and food bar and a well-stocked café.

As well as the archipelago’s smallest hotel, with just one room. Large hiking areas mix with red cottages and a well-preserved farming landscape. Archipelago, meadows, hills and forests are rented by farmers on the island. The forestry at Gällnö is strongly oriented towards nature conservation. At Torsviken there are nature harbor, tent and sandy beach. A narrow sunday separates Gällnö from Karklö where you can take the boat rowing boat’s rowing boats. Even at Karklö is farm and livestock management, third generation in the same family.
