KSSS tradition-rich sailing center in the outermost archipelago of Stockholm has unique opportunities for sea saling. At Sandhamn, KSSS, in cooperation with Viamare, operates Sandhamns Guest harbor.
Since 2000, KSSS has been responsible for all ports in Sandhamn under the name Sandhamn Gästhamnar. The KSSS harbor has three pontoon jetties with fixed jetties between them. East of the petrol station is Viamare’s member harbor, managed by KSSS hamnvakter. KSSS (Royal Swedish Sailing Society) is responsible for all harbours on Sandhamn under the name Sandhamn Gästhamnar. The harbor has a jetty in front of the Seglarhotellet (Saling hotel) on Sandhamn and the East and West moorings.
On the Sandhamn side there is room for about 180 visiting boats, and on the adjacent island of Lökholmen there is room for another 200. It is possible to moor temporarily at the northern part of the L-shaped pontoon jetties. Reserved places are marked with signs.
The guest harbor has 10 booking places available via www.dockspot.com. The booking fee is added to the port fee.
From the route north of Sandön to the south of Lökholmen, the speed limit is no more than 5 knots.
We ask you to think about your boat’s wake as you cross the guest harbor.
In the harbor basin below the Seglarhotellet you moor with mooring lines attached to the jetty. The line is tied fast to the bottom where it attaches to a chain. Doing this acts as a firm anchor. You may moor temporarily at the L-shaped pontoon jetty at the bottom of the harbour along the jetty. ANCHORING FORBIDDEN. For mooring at the docks east of the seabed, please contact the portkeeper.
There is a passenger boat that takes you over from Sandhamn to the slightly calmer Lökholmen. There is room for about 200 guest boats. Adjacent to the harbor are showers, toilets and a sauna.
At Lökholmen there is also a hostel with 10 rooms, which can be booked via email@example.com
